Abstract
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: receiving, from an LMF, a first message including information for positioning measurement for multiple QoS; sequentially performing measurement on the multiple QoS on the basis of the first message; and transmitting, to the LMF, a second message including a result of the measurement.

A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a location management function (LMF) entity, a first message including information for positioning measurements for multiple quality of services (QoSs);
- performing sequential measurements for the multiple QoSs, based on the first message;
- and
- transmitting, to the LMF entity, a second message including a result of the sequential measurements,
- wherein the information for positioning measurements includes at least one of accuracy values for the multiple QoSs or a response time of a measurement result.
A method performed by a location management function (LMF) entity in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a location services client (LCS) entity, a first message including information for positioning measurements for multiple quality of services (QoSs);
- transmitting, to a terminal, a second message including the information for the positioning measurements, based on the first message;
- and
- receiving, from the terminal, a third message including a result of sequential measurements of the multiple QoSs,
- wherein the information for the positioning measurements includes at least one of accuracy values for the multiple QoSs or a response time of a measurement result.
A terminal comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one transceiver;
- and
- at least one memory, communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, storing instructions executable by the at least one processor individually or in any combination to cause the terminal to:
- receive, from a location management function (LMF) entity, a first message including information for positioning measurements for multiple quality of services (QoSs),
- perform sequential measurements for the multiple QoSs, based on the first message, and
- transmit, to the LMF entity, a second message including a result of the sequential measurements,
- wherein the information for the positioning measurements includes at least one of accuracy values for the multiple QoSs or a response time of a measurement result.
A location management function (LMF) entity comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory, communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, storing instructions executable by the at least one processor individually or in any combination to cause the LMF entity to:
- receive, from a location services client (LCS) entity, a first message including information for positioning measurements for multiple quality of services (QoSs),
- transmit, to a terminal, a second message including the information for the positioning measurements, based on the first message, and
- receive, from the terminal, a third message including a result of sequential measurements of the multiple QoSs,
- wherein the information for the positioning measurements includes at least one of accuracy values for the multiple QoSs or a response time of a measurement result.
