An application server receiving the request from the UE. The application server sending the request to a data channel signalling function, DCSF, and in response the DCSF requesting subscriber information from a component of a home network of the UE subscriber based on the subscriber identifier. The component of the home network providing the subscriber information to the DCSF. The DCSF sending the subscriber information to an avatar storage location. The avatar storage location generating an avatar identifier. The avatar storage location storing the avatar identifier with the subscriber identifier. The avatar storage location sending the avatar identifier to the DCSF. The DCSF sending the avatar identifier to the component of the home network and to the application server. The application server sending the avatar identifier to the UE and to a data channel application server. The UE generating avatar definition data.
