Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network node, a measurement report identifying a set of candidate cells for a handover in an order, wherein the order is associated with a metric, wherein the metric is determined dynamically. The UE may receive, from the network node, a handover command from a first cell to a second cell, wherein the second cell is selected from the set of candidate cells. Claims30
A user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause the UE to:
- transmit, to a network node, a measurement report identifying a set of candidate cells for a handover in an order, wherein the order is associated with a metric, wherein the metric is determined dynamically;
- and
- receive, from the network node, a handover command from a first cell to a second cell, wherein the second cell is selected from the set of candidate cells.
A network node, comprising:
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause the network node to:
- receive, from a user equipment (UE), a measurement report identifying a set of candidate cells for a handover in an order, wherein the order is associated with a metric, wherein the metric is determined dynamically;
- and
- transmit, to the UE, a handover command from a first cell to a second cell, wherein the second cell is selected from the set of candidate cells.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- transmitting, to a network node, a measurement report identifying a set of candidate cells for a handover in an order, wherein the order is associated with a metric, wherein the metric is determined dynamically;
- and
- receiving, from the network node, a handover command from a first cell to a second cell, wherein the second cell is selected from the set of candidate cells.
A method of wireless communication performed by a network node, comprising:
- receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a measurement report identifying a set of candidate cells for a handover in an order, wherein the order is associated with a metric, wherein the metric is determined dynamically;
- and
- transmitting, to the UE, a handover command from a first cell to a second cell, wherein the second cell is selected from the set of candidate cells.
