Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications. An example method includes receiving, at a radio link control (RLC) layer, an RLC service data unit (SDU); providing an initial transmission of an RLC PDU, including the RLC SDU, wherein providing the RLC PDU is associated with a start of a prohibit timer; and providing, autonomously and after a termination of the prohibit timer, a retransmission of the RLC PDU.
Claims20
An apparatus for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- one or more antennas;
- and
- a processing system that includes processor circuitry and memory circuitry that stores code for the processor circuitry, the processing system configured to cause the UE to:
- receive, at a radio link control (RLC) layer, an RLC service data unit (SDU);
- provide an initial transmission of an RLC PDU, including the RLC SDU, wherein providing the RLC PDU is associated with a start of a prohibit timer;
- and
- provide, autonomously and after a termination of the prohibit timer, a retransmission of the RLC PDU.
A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) comprising:
- receiving, at a radio link control (RLC) layer, an RLC service data unit (SDU);
- providing an initial transmission of an RLC PDU, including the RLC SDU, wherein providing the RLC PDU is associated with a start of a prohibit timer;
- and
- providing, autonomously and after a termination of the prohibit timer, a retransmission of the RLC PDU.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- means for receiving, at a radio link control (RLC) layer, an RLC service data unit (SDU);
- means for providing an initial transmission of an RLC PDU, including the RLC SDU, wherein providing the RLC PDU is associated with a start of a prohibit timer;
- and
- means for providing, autonomously and after a termination of the prohibit timer, a retransmission of the RLC PDU.
