Abstract

An approach for advertising artificial-intelligence (AI) capabilities of a wireless terminal to a network device. The terminal determines an AI functionality supported by the terminal based on values across multiple dimensional information, which may include operating frequency band, application scenario, inputs and/or outputs of an AI model, and configuration information. The terminal transmits first information that indicates the AI functionality, for example by including a functionality identification corresponding to the determined functionality and/or the values under the different dimensional information. The functionality identification may be derived by the terminal in a custom-defined manner or assigned by the network device from the transmitted values. In some embodiments, the terminal and/or network device determine the supported AI functionality using second or third information that identifies dimensional categories and/or values for a plurality of AI functionalities.
