Asset categorized data migration using an orchestrator generated data migration transcript

A non-transitory machine-readable medium having instructions stored therein, which when executed by a processor of a source provider system, cause the processor to perform operations for migrating data between provider systems, the operations comprising:

• identifying, by a first migration orchestrator of a source provider system and using a dedicated service account generated by the first migration orchestrator to impersonate an actual account of a customer of the source provider system, customer asset data associated with the customer within the source provider system, the customer asset data listing all digital assets within the source provider system that are associated with the customer;
• categorizing, by the first migration orchestrator and using one or more customer contracts, each of the digital assets listed in the customer asset data into at least two data categories, each of the at least two data categories being associated with one or more actions to be executed on the digital assets associated with each of the at least two data categories;
• and
• using, by the first migration orchestrator, the at least two data categories to fulfill a data migration request obtained from the customer.

A data processing system of a source provider system, the data processing system comprising:

• a central processing unit (CPU);
• and
• a memory coupled to the CPU to store instructions, which when executed by the CPU, cause the CPU to perform operations for migrating data between provider systems, the operations comprising:
• identifying, by a first migration orchestrator of a source provider system and using a dedicated service account generated by the first migration orchestrator to impersonate an actual account of a customer of the source provider system, customer asset data associated with the customer within the source provider system, the customer asset data listing all digital assets within the source provider system that are associated with the customer;
• categorizing, by the first migration orchestrator and using one or more customer contracts, each of the digital assets listed in the customer asset data into at least two data categories, each of the at least two data categories being associated with one or more actions to be executed on the digital assets associated with each of the at least two data categories;
• and
• using, by the first migration orchestrator, the at least two data categories to fulfill a data migration request obtained from the customer.
