Abstract
Event-Based pixels operate continuously and output data when there is a change in scene brightness, requiring more information for identification in the readout process compared to Frame-Based integration pixels. The proposed readout system uses asynchronous pixels to detect events and a synchronous scan signal to check pixel status, significantly simplifying image processing and reducing power consumption. Additionally, a global sampling technique with differential operation by the sense amplifier and added reference column lines is used to reduce noise coupling and increase operational speed.
