Abstract
Optimization may be achieved within imaging systems through codesign of sensors and communication links to digital processors, highlighting shorter latency processing and faster feedback cycles. Examples of the optimization include vertical integration using 3-die and 2-die stacking processes for efficient event and image processing. Furthermore, on-chip augmented artificial intelligence for feature extraction and minimized data transmission further include optimization benefits.
