Abstract
A lens apparatus may be attachable to an image pickup apparatus and include a first transmitter configured to transmit to the image pickup apparatus first information on a function of the lens apparatus and second information on a plurality of options of a state of the function, and a first receiver configured to receive from the image pickup apparatus third information on a first option selected in the image pickup apparatus from the plurality of options.

A lens apparatus attachable to an image pickup apparatus, the lens apparatus comprising:
- a first transmitter configured to transmit to the image pickup apparatus first information on a function of the lens apparatus and second information on a plurality of options of a state of the function;
- and
- a first receiver configured to receive from the image pickup apparatus third information on a first option selected in the image pickup apparatus from the plurality of options.
A processing method for a lens apparatus attachable to an image pickup apparatus, the processing method comprising:
- transmitting to the image pickup apparatus first information on a function of the lens apparatus and second information on a plurality of options of a state of the function;
- and
- receiving from the image pickup apparatus third information on a first option selected in the image pickup apparatus from the plurality of options.
