Abstract
According to a method of decoding a feature map, the method comprising restoring a truncated reduced feature map by performing format inverse-conversion on a picture decoded from a bitstream; and restoring a feature map from the truncated reduced feature map, wherein the format inverse-conversion comprises at least one of an inverse-normalization or a distribution compensation on a decoded picture.
Claims18
A method of decoding a feature map, comprising:
- restoring a truncated reduced feature map by performing format inverse-conversion on a picture decoded from a bitstream;
- and
- restoring a feature map from the truncated reduced feature map,
- wherein the format inverse-conversion comprises at least one of an inverse-normalization or a distribution compensation on a decoded picture.
A method of encoding a feature map, comprising:
- generating an encoding target picture by performing format conversion on a reduced feature map;
- and
- encoding the encoding target picture,
- wherein the format conversion comprises at least one of distribution adjustment or normalization on the reduced feature map.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instruction when executed cause the computer to carry out:
- generating an encoding target picture by performing format conversion on a reduced feature map;
- and
- encoding the encoding target picture,
- wherein the format conversion comprises at least one of distribution adjustment or normalization on the reduced feature map.
