Abstract
An image decoding method according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes obtaining image information including prediction parameter-related information, reconstructing a luma block corresponding to a chroma block, deriving a subsampled reconstructed luma block based on the reconstructed luma block, deriving a reconfigured luma block based on the subsampled reconstructed luma block, and deriving prediction samples of the chroma block based on the reconfigured luma block, wherein the reconfigured luma block is derived based on a prediction parameter, and the prediction parameter is derived based on the prediction parameter-related information.
Claims20
An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, the method comprising:
- obtaining image information including prediction parameter related information;
- reconstructing a luma block corresponding a chroma block;
- deriving a subsampled reconstructed luma block based on the reconstructed luma block;
- deriving a reconfigured luma block based on the subsampled reconstructed luma block;
- deriving prediction samples of the chroma block based on the reconfigured luma block,
- wherein the reconfigured luma block is derived a prediction parameter, and
- wherein the prediction parameter is derived based on the prediction parameter related information.
An image encoding method performed by an encoding apparatus, the method comprising:
- determining whether to perform an intra prediction of a chroma block using a luma block;
- reconstructing a luma block corresponding to the chroma block;
- deriving a subsampled reconstructed luma block based on the reconstructed luma block;
- deriving a reconfigured luma block based on the subsampled reconstructed luma block;
- deriving prediction samples of the chroma block based on the reconfigured luma block;
- and
- encoding image information including prediction parameter related information for reconfigured luma samples,
- wherein the prediction parameter related information is signaled by being included in the image information.
A transmitting method for image data, the method comprising:
- obtaining a bitstream generated by an image encoding method, wherein the bitstream is generated based on determining whether to perform intra prediction of a chroma block using a luma block, reconstructing a luma block, deriving a subsampled reconstructed luma block based on the reconstructed luma block, deriving a reconfigured luma block based on the subsampled reconstructed luma block, deriving prediction samples of the chroma block based on the reconfigured luma block, and encoding prediction parameter related information for reconfigured luma samples;
- and
- transmitting the image data including the bitstream,
- wherein the prediction parameter related information is signaled by being included in image information.
