Abstract
An inspection system capable of reducing trouble in performing an inspection setting. The inspection system inspects printed matter output by an image forming apparatus. The inspection system included a memory device that stores a set of instructions, and at least one processor that executes the set of instructions to store inspection settings used for inspection of the printed matter, receive a predetermined instruction accompanying selection of a plurality of different inspection settings from among the inspection settings stored from a user, and synthesize the plurality of different inspection settings according to the predetermined instruction.

An inspection system that inspects printed matter output by an image forming apparatus, the inspection system comprising:
- a memory device that stores a set of instructions;
- and
- at least one processor that executes the set of instructions to:
- store inspection settings used for inspection of the printed matter;
- receive a predetermined instruction accompanying selection of a plurality of different inspection settings from among the inspection settings stored from a user;
- and
- synthesize the plurality of different inspection settings according to the predetermined instruction.
A control method for an inspection system that inspects printed matter output by an image forming apparatus, the control method comprising:
- storing inspection settings used for inspection of the printed matter;
- receiving a predetermined instruction accompanying selection of a plurality of different inspection settings from among the inspection settings stored from a user;
- and
- synthesizing the plurality of different inspection settings according to the
- predetermined instruction.
