Audio, video, and data streams may be prioritized in real time based exclusively on metadata produced by external analytical agents. Externally captured streams are accompanied by metadata derived from independent analysis engines, including AI inference models, rule-based classifiers, signal-processing tools, or domain-specific analytics. A Metadata & Feedback Ingestion subsystem normalizes, timestamps, harmonizes, and aggregates such metadata—optionally incorporating Feedback Data or operational constraints from downstream systems. A Prioritization Engine, operating without accessing or analyzing raw media content and remaining fully inference-agnostic, computes priority scores and generates prioritization outputs for each stream based solely on externally generated metadata and external constraints. These prioritization outputs are consumed by external downstream systems that perform selection, grooming, transcoding, routing, or transmission of streams across constrained networks. The invention thereby enables scalable, distributed, and metadata-driven prioritization of heterogeneous media streams while maintaining strict separation between prioritization logic and downstream stream-handling operations.
A computer-implemented method for real-time prioritization of audio, video, and/or data streams available for transmission over a constrained network, the method comprising:
A system for real-time prioritization of audio, video, or data streams, the system comprising:
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause a system comprising the one or more processors to perform a method comprising:
