Content monitoring for virtual meeting rooms

A system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• at least one memory device including instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the processor to:
• receive, on a host client device configured for a host present in a virtual main meeting room, a monitoring control input;
• responsive to the monitoring control input, display meeting room content of a virtual sub-meeting room while the host is present in the virtual main meeting room;
• receive an audio control input indicative of a selection by the host to output, on the host client device, audio streams from both the virtual main meeting room and the virtual sub-meeting room;
• and
• provide, responsive to the audio control input, the audio streams from both the virtual main meeting room and the virtual sub-meeting room using at least one of a different volume level or a different audio output device for each of the audio streams.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising code that is executable by a processor for causing the processor to:

• receive, on a host client device configured for a host present in a virtual main meeting room, a monitoring control input;
• responsive to the monitoring control input, display meeting room content of a virtual sub-meeting room while the host is present in the virtual main meeting room;
• receive an audio control input indicative of a selection by the host to output, on the host client device, audio streams from both the virtual main meeting room and the virtual sub-meeting room;
• and
• provide, responsive to the audio control input, the audio streams from both the virtual main meeting room and the virtual sub-meeting room using at least one of a different volume level or a different audio output device for each of the audio streams.
