Abstract
In some aspects, a method performed by an electronic label device includes receiving, from an energy harvesting tag, an encrypted payload; and transmitting, to a network component, (1) a decrypted payload generated by decrypting the encrypted payload or (2) the encrypted payload without decryption based on one or more criteria associated with determining whether to perform the decryption by the electronic label device.
Claims20
An electronic label device, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- one or more transceivers;
- and
- one or more processors communicatively coupled to the one or more memories and the one or more transceivers, the one or more processors, either alone or in combination, configured to:
- receive, via the one or more transceivers, from an energy harvesting tag, an encrypted payload;
- and
- transmit, via the one or more transceivers, to a network component, (1) a decrypted payload generated by decrypting the encrypted payload or (2) the encrypted payload without decryption based on one or more criteria associated with determining whether to perform the decryption by the electronic label device.

A method performed by an electronic label device, comprising:
- receiving, from an energy harvesting tag, an encrypted payload;
- and
- transmitting, to a network component, (1) a decrypted payload generated by decrypting the encrypted payload or (2) the encrypted payload without decryption based on one or more criteria associated with determining whether to perform the decryption by the electronic label device.
An electronic label device, comprising:
- means for receiving, from an energy harvesting tag, an encrypted payload;
- and
- means for transmitting, to a network component, (1) a decrypted payload generated by decrypting the encrypted payload or (2) the encrypted payload without decryption based on one or more criteria associated with determining whether to perform the decryption by the electronic label device.
