Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the technical field of communications. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a MAC address acquisition method, which can be implemented in or by an apparatus, a device, or a storage medium, applicable to a first access point (AP). The method includes receiving an address resolution protocol (ARP) request frame sent by a station (STA). The ARP request frame is used for requesting a MAC address corresponding to a target IP address included in the ARP request frame. The method includes sending the ARP request frame to a second AP.

An media access control (MAC) address acquisition method, performed by a first access point device (AP), comprising:
- receiving an address resolution protocol (ARP) request frame sent by a station device (STA), the ARP request frame being configured to request to acquire an MAC address corresponding to a target IP address comprised in the ARP request frame;
- and
- sending the ARP request frame to a second AP.
An media access control (MAC) address acquisition method, performed by a second access point device (AP), comprising:
- receiving an address resolution protocol (ARP) request frame sent by a first AP, the ARP request frame being configured to request to acquire an MAC address corresponding to a target IP address comprised in the ARP request frame, the ARP request frame being sent by a station device (STA) to the first AP.
