Resource relocation policy and function for dynamic and distributed edge computing reliability

A device, comprising:

• a processor configured to:
• determine that a plurality of consumer resources is to be managed by one or more servers of a server set;
• determine, based on one or more consumer resource relocation (CRR) rules of a CRR policy, a first inter-relation indicator associated with a first consumer resource of the plurality of consumer resources and a second inter-relation indicator associated with a second consumer resource of the plurality of consumer resources, wherein the first and second inter-relation indicators indicate whether the first and second consumer resources are inter-related, and wherein the first consumer resource is associated with a first service consumer, and the second consumer resource is associated with a second service consumer;
• determine a management distribution scheme associated with the one or more servers of the server set based on the first and second inter-relation indicators;
• and
• send notification information to the first service consumer and the second service consumer, wherein the notification information indicates the management distribution scheme.
