Disclosed is a wireless device for cancelling self-interference in a communication system supporting full-duplex communication. The wireless device includes a transmission module configured to modulate transmission data in a baseband, upconvert a modulated signal to a radio frequency, and transmit a transmission signal through signal amplification, a reception module configured to recover a signal by downconverting a reception signal to a baseband and demodulating the reception signal, and a self-interference signal cancellation module configured to estimate a self-interference (SI) signal by estimating a channel for signal transfer from the transmission module to the reception module using a predefined sequence and to remove the estimated self-interference signal from the reception signal.
