Frequency domain resource allocation for a random access message in sub-band full-duplex scenarios

Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity may receive first configuration information indicating a sub-band, for sub-band full-duplex (SBFD), that includes one or more first frequency domain resources. The network entity may receive second configuration information indicating a bandwidth part (BWP), wherein the BWP includes one or more second frequency domain resources, and wherein the one or more second frequency domain resources are included in the one or more first frequency domain resources based on configuration of the first configuration information. The network entity may receive an indication of a frequency domain resource allocation for a random access message, wherein the frequency domain resource allocation is based on at least one of the sub-band or the BWP. The network entity may transmit, using the frequency domain resource allocation, the random access message. Numerous other aspects are described.
