A method for processing information, includes: determining configuration information of a reference signal on at least one initial bandwidth part (BWP) of first-type user equipment (UE), where the configuration information indicates a configuration of a configuration parameter set, and the configuration parameter set includes a set of at least one information element (IE) configured to indicate a resource set of the reference signal.
