Abstract
The method includes: a terminal device receiving first information sent by a network device; according to the first information, determining a pathloss reference signal; and calculating, on the basis of the pathloss reference signal, an uplink pathloss.

A method for determining a pathloss, performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving first information sent by a network device;
- determining a pathloss reference signal (PL RS) based on the first information;
- and
- calculating an uplink pathloss based on the PL RS.
