Demodulation of differential phase shift keying (DPSK) signals. A system implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes a magnitude/phase calculator configured to convert in-phase and quadrature phase components of a signal to magnitude and phase samples. The system also includes a preamble detector configured to detect a preamble in the signal based on the magnitude samples. The system further includes a synchronization phase reversal (SPR) detector configured to detect an SPR in the signal to generate a demodulation timing gate. The detection of the SPR is based on the phase samples and on an SPR time offset relative to the detected preamble. The system further includes a phase correction circuit configured to compensate for phase wrapping of the phase samples to generate corrected phase samples, and a DPSK demodulator configured to integrate the corrected phase samples over integration periods, based on the demodulation timing gate, to demodulate the signal.
A system for demodulating a signal, the system comprising:
A computer program product including one or more non-transitory machine-readable mediums encoded with instructions that when executed by one or more processors cause a process to be carried out for signal demodulation, the process comprising:
A method for signal demodulation, the method comprising:
