Assembly for transmitting light and optical transceiver including same

An optical transmitter comprising:

• an optical transmission assembly;
• a laser module;
• and
• an optical fiber;
• wherein the optical transmission assembly comprising:
• a first optical assembly comprising a waveguide and a first lens;
• and
• a second optical assembly comprising a second lens and an optical fiber guide;
• wherein an optical signal emitted from an optical waveguide in the laser module is incident on one end of the waveguide, and wherein the waveguide converts a single-mode optical signal incident from the laser module into a multi-mode optical signal and emits the multi-mode optical signal through the other end of the waveguide, and wherein the first lens converts radiant light emitted from the other end of the waveguide into collimated light, and
• wherein the collimated light converted by the first lens is incident on the second lens, and the second lens focuses the incident collimated light onto the optical fiber mounted in the optical fiber guide.
