Abstract
A resonant power converter and method of forming is disclosed. The resonant power converter includes a transformer. A resonant tank is electrically coupled to a secondary winding of the transformer, and a second resonant tank is electrically coupled to a second secondary winding of the transformer. A first output conditioning portion is electrically coupled to the first resonant tank and a second output conditioning portion is electrically coupled to the second resonant tank.
Claims20
A resonant power converter comprising:
- a transformer having a primary winding configured to receive an alternating polarity voltage, and a secondary winding;
- a resonant tank electrically coupled to the secondary winding;
- and
- an output conditioning portion electrically coupled to the resonant tank.
A method of forming a resonant power converter, the method comprising:
- electrically coupling a resonant tank to a secondary winding of a transformer;
- and
- electrically coupling an output conditioning portion to the first resonant tank.
