Abstract

The present invention provides a power supply circuit and power supply chip. The power supply circuit includes a logic sub-circuit and a drive sub-circuit. The drive sub-circuit is configured to drive a power transistor and is connected in series with the logic sub-circuit so that the two commonly share at least part of a current. With this arrangement, the series-connection power supply path allows for current sharing between the logic and drive sub-circuits, which can significantly reduce the chip's inherent circuit losses. Moreover, this optimizes the chip from the perspective of circuit structure, lowering its own power consumption. In some embodiments of the invention, the series-connection-based design is adapted to various scenarios, achieving additional improvements in reliability and practicality.

A power supply circuit, comprising a logic sub-circuit and a drive sub-circuit, the drive sub-circuit configured to drive a power transistor, the logic sub-circuit and the drive sub-circuit connected in series so as to share at least part of a current,

the drive sub-circuit configured to charge a clamping capacitor, the clamping capacitor configured to store charge in an amount sufficient to quickly charge parasitic capacitance of the power transistor and hence rapidly turn on the power transistor with a charge current, at least 90% of the charge current of the clamping capacitor is commonly shared by the logic sub-circuit and the drive sub-circuit.
