Abstract
Systems and methods are described for reducing emissions associated with wireless power transfer. One or more controllers may be configured to receive emissions data including an emission measurement associated with inductive charging between a vehicle pad and a ground pad. The one or more controllers may further determine one or more adjustment parameters based on the emissions data. The one or more adjustment parameters may include a bus voltage of the ground pad. The one or more adjustment parameters may include one or more of a ground pad duty cycle, a vehicle pad duty cycle, or a switching frequency. The one or more controllers may adjust the bus voltage of the ground pad in accordance with the one or more adjustment parameters.
Claims20
A method of wireless power transfer, the method comprising:
- receiving emissions data, the emissions data comprising an emission measurement associated with inductive charging between a vehicle pad and a ground pad;
- determining one or more adjustment parameters based on the emissions data, the one or more adjustment parameters comprising a bus voltage of the ground pad;
- and
- adjusting the bus voltage of the ground pad in accordance with the one or more adjustment parameters.
A system for wireless power transfer, the system comprising:
- one or more controllers configured to:
- receive emissions data, the emissions data comprising an emission measurement associated with inductive charging between a vehicle pad and a ground pad in an environment;
- determine one or more adjustment parameters based on the emissions data, the one or more adjustment parameters comprising a bus voltage of the ground pad;
- and
- adjust the bus voltage of the ground pad in accordance with the one or more adjustment parameters.
Non-transitory computer-readable storage comprising instructions stored thereon that, when executed, cause one or more controllers to perform operations comprising:
- determining one or more adjustment parameters based on emissions data, the emissions data comprising an emission measurement associated with inductive charging between a vehicle pad and a ground pad of a wireless charging system, and the one or more adjustment parameters comprising a bus voltage of the ground pad;
- and
- causing the bus voltage of the ground pad to be adjusted in accordance with the one or more adjustment parameters.
