Proposed are an apparatus and method for scheduling an unused energy supply to a plant factory by using a genetic algorithm to efficiently provide unused energy, such as industrial waste heat and renewable energy, to the plant factory. The supply scheduling apparatus may improve the operational efficiency of the unused energy supply by automating the entire process, including energy demand prediction, unused energy supply amount prediction, and derivation of an optimal energy supply schedule. Furthermore, the supply scheduling apparatus can offer excellent applicability and scalability in real-world energy operating environments by flexibly responding to complex external variables, such as varying energy demand and supply characteristics depending on crop types and seasons, and fluctuating energy costs across different time slots.
