Abstract
An electrode assembly for a secondary battery includes a structure in which a laminate, including a sheet-shaped positive electrode, a sheet-shaped negative electrode, and a sheet-shaped separator interposed between the sheet-shaped positive electrode and the sheet-shaped negative electrode, is wound. An electronically conductive tape is attached to an outer surface of the sheet-shaped negative electrode not facing the sheet-shaped positive electrode in a width direction of the sheet-shaped negative electrode perpendicular to a winding direction of the laminate, at a portion corresponding to a winding end of the sheet-shaped positive electrode. Also provided is a lithium secondary battery including such an electrode assembly.
Claims15
An electrode assembly for a secondary battery, comprising:
- a structure in which a laminate, including a sheet-shaped positive electrode, a sheet-shaped negative electrode, and a sheet-shaped separator interposed between the sheet-shaped positive electrode and the sheet-shaped negative electrode, is wound,
- wherein an electronically conductive tape is attached to an outer surface of the sheet-shaped negative electrode not facing the sheet-shaped positive electrode in a width direction of the sheet-shaped negative electrode perpendicular to a winding direction of the laminate at a portion corresponding to a winding end of the sheet-shaped positive electrode.
