Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a battery cell that includes: an electrode assembly; a battery housing having an opening on one side and configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through the opening; a washer disposed in the opening of the battery housing; an exterior member configured to cover the battery housing and at least a portion of the washer; and an adhesive member provided on at least one side of the exterior member and configured to strengthen adhesive strength of the exterior member.
Claims18
A battery cell comprising:
- an electrode assembly;
- a battery housing having an opening on one side and configured to accommodate the electrode assembly therethrough;
- a washer disposed adjacent to the opening of the battery housing;
- an exterior member configured to cover the battery housing and at least a portion of the washer;
- and
- an adhesive member provided on at least one side of the exterior member, to fix the exterior member.
A method for manufacturing a battery cell comprising an electrode assembly, a battery housing having an opening on one side and configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, and a washer disposed adjacent to the opening of the battery housing, the method comprising:
- mounting the washer onto an upper surface of the battery housing;
- positioning an adhesive member on at least a first portion of an outer surface of the washer;
- and
- wrapping the battery housing with an exterior member, so as to cover the battery housing and at least a portion of the washer.
A method for manufacturing a battery cell comprising an electrode assembly, a battery housing having an opening on one side and configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, and a washer disposed adjacent to the opening of the battery housing, the method comprising:
- mounting the washer onto an upper surface of the battery housing;
- wrapping the battery housing with an exterior member, so as to cover the battery housing and at least a first portion of the washer;
- and
- positioning an adhesive member on an outer edge of the exterior member.
