Abstract

Provided are an energy storage module and an energy saving system including the same. The energy storage module according to embodiments includes a plurality of secondary batteries, a module case that accommodates the plurality of secondary batteries therein and has an open upper side, a top plate coupled to an upper side of the module case and provided with a duct at a position corresponding to a vent of the secondary battery, an upper cover coupled to an upper side of the top plate and provided with a first opening at a position corresponding to the duct, and a fire extinguishing sheet, which is disposed between the top plate and the upper cover and provided with a second opening at a position corresponding to the duct, and accommodates a fire extinguishing agent therein, wherein the fire extinguishing sheet may include a flat plate portion provided with a plurality of second openings and a protrusion protruding from the flat plate portion in a direction toward the top plate.
