Abstract

In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a traction battery pack assembly, including: first and second battery arrays within an interior of an enclosure, the first and second battery arrays each including a plurality of battery cells; and an array-to-array barrier spanning between the first and second battery arrays, the array-to-array barrier having a first upright section adjacent the first battery array, a second upright section adjacent the second battery array, and a base section connecting the first and second upright sections.
