Abstract
A battery pack includes: a battery case including an upper case and a lower case; a secondary battery housed in the battery case; a sealing material disposed between a peripheral portion of the upper case and a peripheral portion of the lower case; a case joint portion where the peripheral portion of the upper case and the peripheral portion of the lower case are joined via the sealing material; and a temperature sensor positioned adjacent to the case joint and in contact with an inner surface of the battery case.

A battery pack comprising:
- a battery case including an upper case and a lower case;
- a secondary battery housed in the battery case;
- a sealing material disposed between a peripheral portion of the upper case and a peripheral portion of the lower case;
- a case joint portion where the peripheral portion of the upper case and the peripheral portion of the lower case are joined via the sealing material;
- and
- a temperature sensor positioned adjacent to the case joint and in contact with an inner surface of the battery case.
