Abstract
An energy storage device according to one aspect of the present invention includes an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked with a separator interposed therebetween, in which the positive electrode includes a positive substrate and a positive active material layer that is stacked on the positive substrate and contains positive active material particles, the positive active material particles include a lithium transition metal compound having a polyanion structure, a breaking test force of the positive active material particles is 5.0 mN or more, and a deformation ratio of the separator is 10% or less.

An energy storage device comprising:
- an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked with a separator interposed therebetween,
- wherein the positive electrode includes a positive substrate and a positive active material layer that is stacked on the positive substrate and contains positive active material particles,
- the positive active material particles include a lithium transition metal compound having a polyanion structure,
- a breaking test force of the positive active material particles is 5.0 mN or more, and
- a deformation ratio of the separator is 10% or less.
