Abstract
A secondary battery manufacturing device may include a winder that is rotatable in one direction and winds electrode plates and separators to generate an electrode assembly, the electrode plates and separators being alternately arranged, the winder being spaced apart from the electrode plates; a cutter having a cutter configured to cut the electrode plates and the separators; and a finisher that is configured to contact the electrode plates and that applies an adhesive material to one end of the electrode plates.

A secondary battery manufacturing device comprising:
- a winder that is rotatable in one direction and winds electrode plates and separators to generate an electrode assembly, the electrode plates and separators being alternately arranged, the winder being spaced apart from the electrode plates;
- a cutter having a cutter configured to cut the electrode plates and the separators;
- and
- a finisher that is configured to contact the electrode plates and that applies an adhesive material to one end of the electrode plates at a position spaced apart from the winder.

A method of manufacturing a secondary battery comprising:
- generating, by a winder that is rotatable in one direction, an electrode assembly by winding electrode plates and separators, which are alternately arranged and which are spaced apart from the winder;
- cutting the electrode plates and the separators after the electrode plates and separators are wound;
- and
- applying an adhesive material to one end of the electrode plates at a position spaced apart from the winder.
