Abstract
A negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a collector, a first active material layer, and a second active material layer in this order. The first active material layer contains first natural graphite. The second active material layer contains second natural graphite and artificial graphite. An aspect ratio of the second natural graphite is larger than an aspect ratio of the artificial graphite. An alignment angle of the first natural graphite is larger than an alignment angle of the second natural graphite. The alignment angle indicates an acute angle between a major axis diameter of a particle and a surface of the collector.
Claims5
A negative electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the negative electrode comprising:
- a collector;
- a first active material layer;
- and
- a second active material layer, in an order of the collector, the first active material layer, and the second active material layer, wherein:
- the first active material layer contains first natural graphite;
- the second active material layer contains second natural graphite and artificial graphite;
- an aspect ratio of the second natural graphite is larger than an aspect ratio of the artificial graphite;
- an alignment angle of the first natural graphite is larger than an alignment angle of the second natural graphite;
- and
- the alignment angle indicates an acute angle between a major axis diameter of a particle and a surface of the collector.
