A memory array includes memory cells coupled bit lines and word lines. A word line activation circuit applies activation signals to word lines as a function of input values. A bias circuit provides a corrected bias voltage to the bit line. A cell current in each memory cell is a function of the bias voltage, the activation signal, and a computational weight stored in the memory cell. A generated bit line current is a function of a sum of the cell currents. A detection circuit provides, as a function of the bit line current, an output signal indicative of charge flowing in the bit line. The corrected bias voltage is generated as a function of a common bias signal and a calibration factor determined during a calibration operation. The calibration factor is representative of an error between an actual computational result and an ideal computational result of the calibration step.
An in-memory computation (IMC) device, comprising:
A method for controlling an in-memory computation (IMC) device comprising a computation memory array including a plurality of memory cells coupled to a bit line and a plurality of word lines and each storing a respective computational weight, wherein the method comprises:
A method for calibrating an in-memory computation (IMC) device comprising a computation memory array including a plurality of memory cells coupled to a bit line and a plurality of word lines and each storing a respective computational weight, the method comprising, during a calibration step:
