Abstract
The present disclosure aims to calculate the object detection probability of an operator at a monitoring center that monitors automated driving. To this end, the present disclosure provides an object detection probability calculating apparatus that calculates an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on current and past video quality parameters acquired from an imaging unit installed in a mobile object, and distance information indicating the distance from the mobile object or the imaging unit to a predetermined object.

An object detection probability calculating apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory that includes instructions, which when executed, cause the processor to execute:
- calculating an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on current and past video quality parameters obtained from an imaging unit installed in a mobile object and distance information indicating a distance from the mobile object or the imaging unit to a predetermined object.
An object detection probability calculating apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory that includes instructions, which when executed, cause the processor to execute:
- calculating an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on a speed of the mobile object obtained from a speed detection device installed in the mobile object and a distance from the mobile object to a predetermined object.
An object detection probability calculating apparatus comprising:
- a processor;

- a memory that includes instructions, which when executed, cause the processor to execute:
- calculating an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on video quality parameters related to videos acquired by an imaging device installed in the mobile object, a speed of the mobile object obtained from a speed detection device installed in the mobile object, and a distance from the mobile object or the imaging device to a predetermined object.
An object detection probability calculating apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory that includes instructions, which when executed, cause the processor to execute:
- calculating an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on current and past video quality parameters related to videos acquired by an imaging device installed in the mobile object, current and past speeds of the mobile object acquired from a speed detection device installed in the mobile object, and a distance from the mobile object or the imaging device to a predetermined object.
An object detection probability calculating method executed by a computer, comprising:
- calculating an object detection probability indicating a percentage of monitors who actually detected an object when multiple monitors viewed monitoring videos based on current and past video quality parameters acquired from an imaging unit installed in a mobile object, and distance information indicating a distance from the mobile object or the imaging unit to a predetermined object.
