Subject completion and creation for large-scale spherical media

An experiential media adaptation server for generating inferred object content, the experiential media adaptation server comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the instructions, the instructions, when executed by the processor, configuring the processor to:
• annotate a plurality of frames of a cinematic media content, each of the plurality of frames comprising a target object of the cinematic media content,
• train one or more machine learning models using the annotated frames,
• obtain a guidance image that outlines an amount of content to add to a frame of the cinematic media content based on a resolution of a media plane of a venue,
• define one or more parameters for the one or more trained machine learning models and a query describing a target output for expanding the frame of the cinematic media content, and
• generate inferred content of the object in the frame of the cinematic media content using the one or more trained machine learning models and the guidance image to produce an expanded frame according to the one or more parameters and the query.

A venue for providing experiential media, the venue comprising:

• a media plane configured to present an experiential version of a cinematic media content to an audience within the venue;
• and
• an experiential media adaptation server configured to:
• annotate a plurality of frames of the cinematic media content, each of the plurality of frames comprising a target object of the cinematic media content;
• train one or more machine learning models using the annotated frames;
• obtain a guidance image that outlines an amount of content to add to a frame of the cinematic media content based on a resolution of the media plane;
• define one or more parameters for the one or more trained machine learning models and a query describing a target output for expanding the frame of the cinematic media content;
• and
• generate inferred content of the object in the frame of the cinematic media content using the one or more trained machine learning models and the guidance image to produce an expanded frame according to the one or more parameters and the query.
