Body measurement measuring method and automatic clothing pattern generation method, for contactlessly ordering and manufacturing custom-made clothing

A method for measuring body measurements and automatically generating clothing patterns for non-face-to-face custom-made clothing ordering and manufacturing, the method comprising:

• selecting multiple subjects and measuring the dimensions of each predetermined body part of each subject to obtain actual measured body measurements of the subject;
• measuring the dimensions of each predetermined body part from photographs taken of each subject;
• deriving a regression equation for calculating actual body measurements of a clothing consumer from the body measurements in photographs taken of the clothing consumer, by performing statistical processing involving correlation analysis and regression analysis between the actual measured body measurements of the subject and the measurements of each body part of each subject measured in the photographs;
• developing a measurement program based on the regression equation to calculate the actual body measurements of the clothing consumer from the body measurements in the photographs taken of the clothing consumer, and storing the program on a server;
• capturing an image for measuring the body measurements of the clothing consumer using a portable mobile terminal, and transmitting the captured image to the server from the mobile terminal;
• measuring, by the server, the dimensions of predetermined body parts from the image taken of the clothing consumer using the measurement program;
• and
• inputting the measurements of the body parts measured from the photographs of the clothing consumer as input variables into the measurement program, such that the actual measured body measurements of each body part of the clothing consumer are calculated by the measurement program.
