An image processing method for causing a computer to execute a mask region calculation step, wherein

• the mask region calculation step acquires a detection result of an image detection process for an image of a frame in a video,
• the mask region calculation step calculates a mask region for an image of a first frame based on at least the detection result for an image of a second frame,
• the image detection process associates a detection boundary or a detection region with at least the image of the second frame, and sets a detection score for the detection boundary or the detection region,
• the detection result includes the detection boundary or the detection region and the detection score, and
• the second frame is a frame at a time point different from the first frame on a time axis of the video.

A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores a program for causing a computer to execute a mask region calculation process, wherein

• the mask region calculation process causes the computer to acquire a detection result of an image detection process for an image of a frame in a video,
• the mask region calculation process causes the computer to calculate a mask region for an image of a first frame based on at least the detection result for an image of a second frame,
• the image detection process associates a detection boundary or a detection region with at least the image of the second frame, and sets a detection score for the detection boundary or the detection region,
• the detection result includes the detection boundary or the detection region and the detection score, and
• the second frame is a frame at a time point different from the first frame on a time axis of the video.
