A system and method are disclosed for the comparative and context-aware analysis of testimonial data, such as depositions, trial transcripts, and other sworn statements. Testimony is structured using a graph-based architecture wherein nodes represent entities and edges represent relationships. The system supports the analyses of testimonial content using one or more methods, including generative artificial intelligence (AI), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), extractive techniques, template-based logic, and information retrieval tools such as full-text search engines (e.g., Elasticsearch). Users may select one or more transcripts and supplement them with contextual materials—such as complaints, answers, exhibits, or memoranda via ingestion mechanisms. Contextual inputs guide the system in generating targeted summaries or comparison reports that reflect specific legal issues, topics, or actors. The system enables structured comparison across multiple depositions or transcripts, highlighting similarities, contradictions, and omissions, and provides mechanisms for knowledge continuity, impeachment strategy, and litigation intelligence across matters and time.
