Method for calculating growth potential index of promising artist in target city, method for recommending promising artist in the target city using the same, and server for performing the methods

A method for calculating a growth potential index of a promising artist in a target city performed in a processor-based device, the method comprising:

• a step of calculating a first popularity index of the promising artist corresponding to the actual popularity of the promising artist with respect to the target city;
• a step of calculating a second popularity index of the promising artist corresponding to the similarity between a popular artist in the target city and the promising artist;
• and
• a step of calculating a growth potential index of the promising artist based on the first and second popularity indexes of the promising artist.

A server comprising:

• a memory storing computer-readable instructions;
• and
• a processor implemented to execute the instructions,
• wherein the processor calculates a growth potential index for each of a plurality of promising artists with respect to the target city and recommends one or more promising artists from among the plurality of promising artists based on the growth potential index for each of the plurality of promising artists,
• wherein the growth potential index for each of the plurality of promising artists is calculated based on the actual popularity of each of the plurality of promising artists in the target city and the similarity between each of the plurality of promising artists and a popular artist in the target city.

A server comprising:

• a memory storing computer-readable instructions;
• and
• a processor implemented to execute the instructions,
• wherein the processor calculates a first popularity index of the promising artist corresponding to the actual popularity of the promising artist with respect to the target city,
• calculates a second popularity index of the promising artist corresponding to the similarity between a popular artist in the target city and the promising artist, and
• calculates a growth potential index of the first promising artist based on the first and second popularity indexes of the promising artist.
