A method for calculating a total popularity index of an artist and a service server performing the same are disclosed. The disclosed method is performed in a service server and comprises: calculating a total group streaming index of a first group artist for a specific date and a first city based on streaming data from a plurality of streaming servers; calculating a fandom index of a first member artist for the specific date and the first city based on log data of the service server corresponding to online fandom activities; and calculating a total popularity index of the first member artist for the specific date and the first city based on the total group streaming index and the fandom index. Here, the first group artist includes a first member artist.
