Control tower for prospective transactions

A system, comprising:

• one or more processors coupled to memory, the one or more processors configured to:
• present a graphical interface via a user device of a user, the graphical interface comprising (i) at least one indication of a recurring payment that identifies, for a financial account, a recurring payment to a first entity, and (ii) a decline payments selector configured to allow the user to decline at least one upcoming recurring payment from the financial account to the first entity;
• accept, via the decline payments selector, an input that one or more upcoming recurring payments from the financial account to the first entity are to be declined;
• transmit an application programming interface (API) call to the first entity, the API call identifying the financial account and indicating that the one or more upcoming recurring payments from the financial account to the first entity will be declined;
• and
• decline, in response to the API call, an upcoming recurring payment request received from an entity device corresponding to the first entity.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• presenting a graphical interface via a user device of a user, the graphical interface comprising (i) at least one indication of a recurring payment that identifies, for a financial account, a recurring payment to a first entity, and (ii) a decline payments selector configured to allow the user to decline at least one upcoming recurring payment from the financial account to the first entity;
• accepting, via the decline payments selector, an input that one or more upcoming recurring payments from the financial account to the first entity are to be declined;
• transmitting an application programming interface (API) call to the first entity, the API call identifying the financial account and indicating that the one or more upcoming recurring payments from the financial account to the first entity will be declined;
• and
• declining, in response to the API call, an upcoming recurring payment request received from an entity device corresponding to the first entity.
