Systems and methods for automatically disambiguating individual users within a multi-tenant environment based on automated evaluation of real-time sensor data obtained within the multi-tenant environment are provided. A user monitoring gateway implemented in a multi-tenant environment processes ambient and direct data from myriad sensors and devices to identify events occurring in the multi-tenant environment. The user monitoring gateway converts this ambient and direct data into an attribute vector having values corresponding to attributes associated with the event and any users detected as being associated with the event. The user monitoring gateway evaluates the attribute vector according to different vectors corresponding to known users to identify the particular users associated with the event.
