Abstract

The present technology pertains to an interaction control interface for testing and developing a customized generative response engine (CGRE) that includes a base generative response engine version and system instructions/message that influence outputs generated by the CGRE. The interface integrates the functions defining, modifying, and testing the CGRE to enable rapid iterations between testing and modifying the CGRE. The interface receives a configuration (e.g., a system message and a base model) of the CGRE, providing a first version of the CGRE. The interface receives a test prompt and sends the test prompt to the first version of the CGRE. The interface then receives the CGRE's response to the test prompts and presents it in the interface for evaluation by a user. Based in the response, a user can modify the CGRE's configuration to provide a second version of the CGRE, which is then tested in the same manner.

Dependent claims

A method of testing a first configuration of a customized generative response engine, the method comprising:

receiving a first configuration of the customized generative response engine by an interactive test interface, wherein the first configuration includes at least a system message, and a base generative response engine version,
causing the customized generative response engine to be configured according to the first configuration to provide a first customized generative response engine;
receiving a test prompt in the interactive test interface;
sending the test prompt to the first customized generative response engine;
receiving a first response from the first customized generative response engine;
and
presenting the first response in the interactive test interface for evaluation by a user.

receive a first configuration of a customized generative response engine by an interactive test interface, wherein the first configuration includes at least a system message, and a base generative response engine version,
cause the customized generative response engine to be configured according to the first configuration to provide a first customized generative response engine;
receiving a test prompt in the interactive test interface;
send the test prompt to the first customized generative response engine;
receiving a first response from the first customized generative response engine;
and
present the first response in the interactive test interface for evaluation by a user.
