Abstract
A memory access method comprises adding routing information to a memory page table, so that a memory management unit (MMU) queries, in a process of performing address translation on a virtual address (VA), the memory page table to obtain the routing information. After querying the memory page table and obtaining a physical address (PA), the MMU may directly route the PA based on the routing information, whereby a system address decoder (SAD) is not needed for further decoding the PA.
Claims20
A memory access method, wherein the memory access method comprises:
- receiving a first memory access request, wherein the first memory access request comprises a first address;
- obtaining based on the first address, routing information and a second address;
- and
- sending a second memory access request to a target module indicated by the routing information,
- wherein the second memory access request comprises the second address.
A computing system, comprising:
- a computing node comprising:
- a processor;
- a core in the processor and configured to send a memory access request, wherein the memory access request comprises a first address;
- and
- a memory management unit (MMU) in the processor and configured to:
- receive the memory access request;
- obtain, based on the first address, routing information and a second address;
- and
- send a second memory access request to a target module indicated by the routing information,
- wherein the second memory access request carries the second address.
A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing node in a computing system to:
- receive, by a memory management unit (MMU) of a computing node of the computing system, a memory access request from a core, wherein the memory access request carries a first address;
- obtain, by the MMU, based on the first address, routing information and a second address;
- and
- send, by the MMU, a second memory access request to a target module indicated by the routing information,
- wherein the second memory access request carries the second address.
