A platform for architectural drawing generation and approval with automated code compliance review and correction. The platform generates 3D architectural images from text descriptions, question and answer templates, and/or sample images for user or designer review and approval, and converts the verified 3D architectural images to 2D architectural drawings for permitting and construction. A code compliance and correction module receives the output 2D architectural drawings, selects a jurisdiction-specific code set from a multi-jurisdiction code database based on a project location, and analyzes the drawings using a machine learning algorithm trained on labeled architectural drawings associated with code compliance determinations. Detected violations are spatially marked within the drawings and reported with applicable code sections and suggested corrections, and the drawings are iteratively corrected until all applicable code requirements are satisfied, with design changes propagated upstream for regeneration of the 3D architectural images.
