A system and method for uploading to a simulator of the computer system a state file generated by the computer system, the state file including data describing content of memory and hardware registers of the computer system, to generate a simulated computer system; and analyzing the simulated computer system using the simulator.

A method for modeling a computer system, the method comprising:
- uploading to a simulator of the computer system a state file of the computer system, the state file comprising data describing content of memory and hardware registers of the computer system, to generate a simulated computer system;
- and
- analyzing the simulated computer system using the simulator.
A device comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors to:
- execute a simulator of a computer system;
- upload to the simulator of a state file of the computer system, the state file comprising data describing content of memory and hardware registers of the computer system, to generate a simulated computer system;
- and
- analyze the simulated computer system using the simulator.
