Methods and systems for managing documentation for software used to provide computer-implemented services are disclosed. An identification of an occurrence of a documentation generation event may be made. Based on the identification, software development elements used to produce the software may be identified, and a user type of the documentation may be identified. Based on the user type, relevant flow data indicating features of the software that are likely to be accessed by the user may be obtained. A portion of available content may be identified from the software development elements (e.g., based on the relevant flow data). A structure for the documentation may be dynamically defined based at least on the portion of the available content and the relevant flow data. The documentation may be automatically generated using the structure and the portion of the available content.
